LIBRARY

Books, Magazines & More

The Auckland Quilt Guild maintains an extensive collection of books, magazines, templates and stencils available for monthly loan and is open meeting days from 10.00am until 12 noon. This service is included as part of your membership.

We subscribe to magazines from New Zealand, Australia, USA, Japan and the UK, and purchase several new books every month. We have books on patchwork and quilting as well as quilt related subjects such as design, dyeing, and mixed-media. We welcome advice and feedback from members on our book selection.

Borrowing
We use an electronic library system providing you with a fast and friendly library experience.  All you need to borrow from the Library is your current Membership Card. Please ensure you present your card when visiting the Library; we can’t issue you any books without it.

You may borrow as many items as you like. If you are not able to return your books by their due date, please email the librarian with the barcode number of the item and your membership number, or ask a friend to return them for you.

We welcome all members to volunteer in the library on meeting days – it’s a rewarding experience and a great opportunity to meet other members and help develop our Guild.
