Join us

We are one of the largest quilting and patchwork organisations in New Zealand

We meet regularly on the first Saturday of each month. Doors open at 10am and the day normally ends around 2.00 – 2.30pm. The morning allows free time to catch up with friends, choose library books, shop at the merchants stall and suitcase sale. Sometimes we have a ‘gather-round’, an informal tutorial by one of our members who wishes to share. We have an extensive collection of library books, magazines, and templates. The library is regularly added to with the latest books and magazines available (there is a reserve system for newest additions to our collection).

Take part in our Block of the Month, each month a pattern is available to take home and make, bring your finished block back next month and go in the draw to win all of the blocks made!

A caterer comes to each meeting with a selection of sweet and savoury treats for lunch and morning tea. Tea and coffee is provided for a gold coin donation.

Other events include our annual show, The Auckland Festival of Quilts, all financial members are eligible to enter their quilts in this fabulous show.

Guild Membership runs annually from 1 March to 28 February. Visitors are very welcome on Guild meeting days, meeting dates are listed on the left.

Please join us and meet people who share your interests and gain access to our wonderful resources.
